Yosh’s Drum Warehouse Releases Drum Sample Library – Music Connection Magazine

John “Yosh” Jaszcz, seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning engineer, producer and mixer, introduced Volume 2 of his acclaimed drum sample library, Yosh’s Drum Warehouse. The expansive collection includes over 2,000 new multi-sampled, multi-velocity drum hits recorded with three different kits and over a dozen snares to match the groove of a wide range of musical genres.

Many of today’s young engineers think that sampling and fattening recorded drums is something that has only been possible fairly recently, but Yosh and like-minded engineers have been sampling and triggering from the middle 1980s, layering samples with the recorded tracks to create the drums. hits a little bigger and subtly punches through the mix. Like Vol. 2, vol. 1 library includes multi-sampled and multi-speed samples compatible with Slate’s Trigger 2.
