Sonam Kapoor celebrates Indian craftsmanship on this magazine cover

Sonam Kapoor’s lasting relationship with fashion cannot be overstated. Over the years, she has supported many non-traditional designers. And, she did the same thing she featured on the last cover of Grazia. In a series of looks, she was seen wearing creations from several of these designers and with each photo she added a note.

“Whether on the red carpet or at any global event, I am always proud to showcase Indian craftsmanship. I sincerely believe that India is home to extremely talented karigars and artisans who shape our identity as an industry, ”she captioned a photo she was seen in a red velvet jacket from Kshitij Jalori.

The printed jacket had a lovely old-fashioned feel and was paired with a set of designer brocade pants. The look was combined with a matte red lipstick and trendy earrings.

In the second case, she was seen in an embroidered tunic of Karishma Khanduja. The flowy outfit was paired with contrasting pants and the look was completed with her hair loosely tied back. Sharing a photo, the actor wrote, “Karishma’s connection to craftsmanship is visceral. In my opinion, her work comes from a place of great love and knowledge of the craftsmanship that surrounds her, ”she said, adding that the designer’s work“ says a lot to me ”.

In the third photo, she was seen in a printed dress paired with a jacket. The Sunira set had an overall aesthetic as the Veere Di Wedding the actor shed more light on this in the description. “If you haven’t heard of Sunira, you’re missing out!… There is a certain edge and a certain elegance in their work which I find so unique. Plus, they really know their textiles. If bohemian is your thing, this is your date.

The actor was also seen in a printed dress paired with a wrap jacket, both from the Verb by Pallavi Singhee label. The minimalist print worked well with the subdued glamorous look. The filled eyebrows and red lipstick added the perfect finishing touch. The cape worked great and so did the prints. “Her work has an avant-garde side which I think makes her clothes stand out. There is so much to love – the flowing silhouettes, the use of Indian craftsmanship in a modern way, the ability to wear your clothes casually or to stun the red carpet – the range is amazing. I like what I’m wearing here. I just feel effortless, ”she wrote. We support it.

Finally, she was seen in a set by her longtime collaborator Anamika Khanna. The classic ensemble featured the designer’s handprints throughout, from the aesthetic to the color scheme.
