Seltzerland will be visiting St. Louis for the first time on Saturday June 12 at the Highlands Golf & Tennis Club at 5163 Clayton Ave. in Forest Park. The nationally touring festival invites hard seltzer fans to walk hole-to-hole while tasting seltzer from brands like White Claw, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Vizzy, Playamar and more.

Cannonball Productions launched Seltzerland in 2020 as a way for people to try different brands of hard seltzer without having to purchase an entire case. It also allowed participants to spend time socializing outdoors in a safe and socially remote environment.

“So many people were looking for business opportunities last year, and being able to be on your boat or in the grass or on a porch with hard seltzer water in your cooler was just an easy way to do it,” he said. said Kate Levenstien. , CEO and Founder of Cannonball Productions.

In addition to trying over 30 seltzers, participants can experience immersive activities, like the tequila-inspired oasis of Playamar. Relax at the wrap-around bar or take photos on a giant swing. Ice cubes, music, and beach-themed items like sun hats and bandanas are also provided.

” It’s everywhere. It could be anything from a local brewery or a local seltzery serving a 10 by 10 tent with the owner there, or it could be those larger experiences, ”Levenstien said.

Alcohol brands will also be there. Supplement your seltzer water with a glass of alcohol or take home a mini bottle from the mixology stations provided by 99, Fireball, Sheepdog and Dr. McGillicuddy’s.

After hosting numerous festivals over the past year, Seltzerland has reduced its security measures to a science. Participants register for scheduled time slots called “tee times” in groups of 20 people or less to help maintain social distancing. Sanitation stations will be provided at each booth, and all vendors and staff will wear masks.

“There is tons of space to explore, so people don’t crowd. The timed entry really helps keep that flow going throughout the event, ”said Levenstien.

A general admission ticket allows you to get over 30 samples of hard seltzer with food available for purchase. The VIP ticket adds a specialty cocktail, a full can of seltzer, and free food, including a box of hot breakfast by Hormel Black Label. Tickets are available online.
