Ontex donates sanitary products to Ukraine – Nonwovens Industry Magazine

Ontex has donated over one million personal hygiene items for refugees from Ukraine in the past two weeks. Hygiene items such as diapers, feminine sanitary napkins, tampons and adult incontinence products were shipped through Ontex’s own supply chain network and with trucks from other production companies , charities and non-governmental organizations.

The more than one million donated items have been shipped to people in need in Poland and Ukraine.

We condemn the invasion of Ukraine and deeply regret the escalation of the humanitarian crisis it has caused. Our hearts go out to all those affected by these events. Therefore, I am proud that our teams and our supply chain network have managed to get over a million hygiene items to refugees in such a short time..”

Until March, Ontex had a small sales team based in Ukraine but stopped all activities that could pose safety risks to our employees. All staff are safe and accounted for at the time of publication.
