The LANDR music services website has released a new plugin called Chromatic. The new instrument is what they call âartist generatedâ and was created in collaboration with established artists like D Smoke and Arianne Moffatt. The plug-in features an interface similar to that of the popular Arcade Output and allows users to play loops and samples from their MIDI keyboard while the black keys will affect the sound in different ways, such as reversing and changing the length of the sample loop.
A new aspect, however, is that LANDR will in fact allow sound creators who make packs for the instrument to receive royalties on the music made using their packs.
Regarding the new initiative, LANDR said, âChromatic will soon incorporate the distribution of royalties for the creators who contribute to sound ensembles and those who use them in their works, generating potential new sources of income for artists around the world all over the world. by enabling artistic collaboration and exchange in a unique way. . It will function as an intriguing additional asset that artists can use to promote their recordings and projects and increase their income. ”
The new plugin is available as part of LANDR’s All Access Pass subscription which includes AI proficiency, your music distribution and more. Learn more about Chromatic here or watch the video below.
