Ella Emhoff’s first magazine cover talks about her love for knitwear

After the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on January 20, the latter’s daughter-in-law, Ella Emhoff, became an overnight fashion sensation. Her jeweled Miu Miu coat made social media tremble. After that, she signed with IMG Model and recently made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week. Now the art student has made the cover of a magazine Dust, a biannual European magazine on art and fashion.

In it, she can be seen exposing her penchant for knits while wearing one of her models. Tell the magazine about it, quoted in a In the style report, she said: “The choice was honestly very improvised. Personally, I like the cross between the old and the new. I love doily-type collars, obviously I love knits, I love tartans, I love classic embroidery, and I wanted to make sure I stayed true to myself and kept that alive. She continued on her love for knitting: “It’s almost a selfish act; a cathartic experience; my therapy.

For her runaway debut, she was seen filming outdoors on a blustery weekend at the Parrish Museum in Water Mill, New York. A report in PA quotes designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough when they claimed the fashion world had sat down and noticed the 21-year-old after her famous appearance. Therefore, when they were preparing their February show which, due to the pandemic, was a digital short, the casting director suggested the name of the art student and the designers chose her.
