Edgewell Personal Care Appoints Chief Legal Officer – Nonwovens Industry Magazine

Edgewell Personal Care Company has announced the appointment of LaTanya Langley as Chief Legal Officer (CLO), effective February 28, 2022. Langley will be based at the Company’s office in Shelton, CT. She will report to President and CEO Rod Little and will be an integral part of Edgewell’s global leadership team.

Langley joins Edgewell from BIC Corp., where she served as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. In this role, she led a team responsible for legal strategy and execution, in addition to global transactions, including complex litigation management, human resources/employee relations, crisis management, business transactions, compliance and corporate governance. Previously, she held positions of increasing responsibility within BIC’s legal function, both in the United States and internationally. Prior to joining BIC, Langley held several legal positions at Diageo PLC, a global leader in alcoholic beverages. She began her legal career in private practice as a partner at Paul Hastings LLP, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Shipman & Goodwin LLP, specializing in corporate law and corporate finance and restructuring.

Langley received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and her Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, from Trinity College, where she serves on the Board of Trustees. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she is an adjunct professor.
