The Duchess also appears to have paid a subtle tribute to Diana by wearing the gold Cartier Tank Francaise watch that once belonged to the Princess of Wales on the cover.
According to Time and Tide Watchesthe watch previously belonged to Prince William after the brothers divided Diana’s personal assets after her death.
Harry originally took Diana’s diamond and sapphire engagement ring, but William asked to swap heirlooms so he could propose to Kate Middleton with their mother’s ring in 2009.
The gold Cartier watch was then passed down to Meghan when she married Harry.
Meghan’s hair was styled by Serge Normant, who also styled her hair on her wedding day to Harry in May 2018.
This time, Normant created loose waves with lots of volume on the Duchess. Harry stands beside her, but behind her, a hand on her shoulder.
Hairdresser James Johnson Told FEMALE that Meghan’s hair “highlights her authority”, while her strong pose “gives viewers a glimpse of her powerful new status”.
“It gives me the Beyoncé vibe showing us girl power – supported by her man, her prince leaning on her showcasing female empowerment, she wears the pants with her big hair,” she said. he declares.
A second photograph of the couple, taken at their home in California, shows them wearing matching colors.
Standing in a doorway, Harry wears an olive green suit, while Meghan poses in a matching olive green turtleneck and charcoal gray trousers. The Duchess chooses to pull her hair up into a bun with loose locks framing her face in the second image.
The images coincide with Harry’s 37th birthday on Wednesday.
