Adele releases songlist for album “30” featuring a sample of the late great jazz pianist Erroll Garner
Adele has released a tracklist for the new album, “30”.
There are no duets – although fans have continued to speculate – but Adele is the only singer on the album. There is, however, a bonus track with Chris Stapleton, from all people. Go figure it out. She is obviously trying to reach the country’s market. It’s a duet on his current hit, “Easy On Me”.
The real surprise is a credited performance by the late great jazz pianist Erroll Garner. It’s on a track called “All Night Parking (Interlude) with Garner.” Now that should be interesting.
She has a song called “I Drink Wine”, which could be humorous. Watch the third and fourth tracks for the singles. “Cry Your Heart Out” doesn’t sound like much fun, just more tissues. And “Oh My God” can be something we hear all year round.
A big question will be about the song listed here, “To Be Loved”. Jackie Wilson, of course, had such a famous song that Berry Gordy wrote. If Adele took it over, it will be on my playlists forever.
